I’ve used various log splitters for over 20 years, including both gas and electric splitters. The Boss 7 ton worked great until it broke after a year+ of normal use. I sent pictures to customer service but apparently I was too hard on the machine. My next splitter will be from another company.

No way! What the hell,n the machine was great, but after delivery u.p.s. it was too damaged. With NO recourse for service ,parts, anything. DONT BUY DIRECT! You'll be stuck with a 500 dollar boat anchor. Home Depot took it back no problem. I ordered the 10 ton gas powered splitter by Champion from Home Depot. Champion seller even responds to reviews! Im psyched to get my Champion splitter.

Heres my 4th review. I was having a great run crushing the pile I've accumulated when i saw a leak at the back seal to the valve body. I took pics and video but going back in video to catch a drip i saw something i didnt see unpacking the machine.. the rim on the switch side was smashed. Had to be dropped pretty hard. This was a five star splitter in my book. UPS killed a great machine. Returned to home depot no problem.

This 7 ton electric splitter seems to muscle through most wood better than I expected. The only issue I have had is a hydraulic leak behind the control lever. I have contacted customer service and hope to resolve the issue quickly. If resolved I could give it 5 stars.

I have done business for several years and until recently their Service was excellent. Now no one is home! Recorded phone message states call volume problem, call back. Total BS same message for weeks on end and no response to email.
Products are great but I would not buy again until this Company problem is resolved.... not sure there is a business going forward??
