FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What tonnage log splitter do I need?

20–27 ton models are sufficient for most homeowners. For professionals or very hard wood (oak, elm, etc.) 30–40 ton models are recommended.

What's the difference between horizontal and vertical operation?

Horizontal splitters load at waist height — ideal for smaller logs. Vertical (or combo) models allow splitting large heavy logs directly on the ground without heavy lifting.

What type of hydraulic fluid should I use?

Use AW32 or AW46 anti-wear hydraulic oil. Check your owner's manual. Avoid ATF unless specifically allowed.

How long does shipping take?

Orders usually ship within 1–3 business days. Ground delivery takes 3–10 business days depending on location.
